Your Participation is Vital

The University of California, Irvine, Division of Infectious Diseases will present the Annual HIV/AIDS on the Front Line Conference on October 23, 2025. This conference has been a pillar of the HIV treating community in Southern California for 38 years. It is targeted towards regional healthcare providers treating and preventing HIV. The goal is to provide healthcare professionals with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and treatment skills with new and updated data.

We will be holding the conference in a hybrid format this year with multiple sessions. We will have a virtual livestream and an option for in-person networking section. The faculty will be comprised of national, regional, and local experts. Topics that are critical in HIV diagnosis, management, and prevention will be presented. The content will include HIV treatment and prevention, co-morbid infections, sexually transmitted infections, cascade of care and local epidemiology, mental health, and substance use.

The planning committee consists of the UCI faculty, Orange County Health Care Agency HIV leadership, and HIV Community Based Organizations. The committee membership represents different disciplines and diversity that reflect the attendees.

Attendees include HIV physicians, nurses, mid-level providers, case managers, outreach staff, testing counselors, laboratorians, mental health workers, and prevention specialists as well as primary care providers and other health professionals interested in learning the latest on HIV. Attendees come from the four neighboring counties (Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles). With the accessibility of a virtual option, we expect attendance from a wider region.
